Monica Amor received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami in 1994 and then attended law school at the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in May 1997. Later that same year, she was admitted to the Florida Bar and has been practicing law in Florida ever since.
Monica specializes in workers’ compensation cases. She previously represented major corporations and insurance companies in workers’ compensation matters. She has, however, been representing injured workers exclusively since 2007. She is Board Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation by the Florida Bar. According to the Florida Bar, only 7% of Florida Bar members are board-certified, and demonstrates a lawyer's significant commitment to and experience in a specialty field of law. She also represents persons in claims against creditors and debt collectors for violations of FDCPA, FCCPA, and TCPA. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.
Monica also obtained an LLM in Real Property Development from the University Of Miami School of Law in 2014 and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator. Ms. Amor has extensive litigation experience in these fields of law. Contact our office for a free consultation.
